Mid-century modern Scandinavian design, a Green "Oxid" glass vase, Åseda

A fantastic handblown sommerso vintage art glass vase known as "oxid" made by bo borgström for åseda, sweden. This is a very special vase, the shape is stout, yet it is the color which makes it so special. It has a deep dark green base, which fades into a paler green surrounded by clear crystal. It is very grand and yet also very simple and sophisticated and will be a fantastic show piece in any setting. It is 13, 5cm high (5.31") and around 11, 5cm (4.52") in diameter at the base. Note this is a rather heavy object close to 1300 gram (2.86 lbs). It is in a very good condition.
