Vintage italian Murano Seguso Scavo glass vase, from the 1970s

Large vintage murano seguso scavo green glass hand blown vase in greek style. The scavo glass technique mimics the effect caused by a long underground stay, typical of glass objects found during archaeological excavations. Alfredo barbini invented this technique in the 1950s. Later, in the 1970s, the technique was taken over by seguso vetri d'arte. The scavo technique was trending in the 1970s. In perfect condition.
