Office bench – Louis XVI style – Repainted wood – Blue fabric

Large Louis XVI style bench in carved wood with a patina showing signs of wear that reveal the underlying natural wood. The apron is adorned with a continuous sculpted frieze of braided ribbon and floral rosettes at the corners, reflecting neoclassical decorative vocabulary. The six tapered fluted legs, with square capitals featuring rosettes, are characteristic of the Louis XVI style. The long seat is covered in a royal blue fabric with a diamond quilted pattern, a carefully executed contemporary reupholstery in very good condition. The frame dates from the 19th century. The whole is in perfect condition. Reupholstery is possible upon request and estimate from our workshops. Dimensions: H. 40 cm – W. 40 cm – Weight: 25 kg.
