4 "CH24" Wishbone dining chairs by Hans J. Wegner for Carl Hansen & Son

Set of 4 "CH24" dining chairs in oak, designed by Hans J. Wegner and produced by Carl Hansen & Son. Designed in 1949, the "Wishbone Chair" is one of Wegner’s most influential creations. The Y-shaped backrest and curved top rail, together with the handwoven paper cord seating, define beauty and everyday functionality in one chair. The design was inspired by Ming Dynasty chairs. The papercord seating is still original and stable, but with more intense signs of usage and could be rewoven if desired. The wooden structure of the chairs is in very good condition.
