Very large globe from the 1950s/60s. The map is labeled French Equatorial Africa and French West Africa. It must have been used in a school... Scale 1: 20, 000, 000, 1 mm on the map represents 20 km. A water bottle has been placed on the globe to give you an idea of its volume and size (see photos). An edition label is present on the globe (see photo). Ocean currents are marked. The map is made of paper glued onto a plaster globe. There are some signs of age (see photos) which do not detract from its overall aesthetic appeal. The colors remain superb. The total height is approximately 94 cm, the globe itself is 64 cm high, the base is approximately 30 cm high, and its diameter is 40 cm. The circumference of the globe is 210 cm. I can arrange delivery in Paris and the surrounding region.
