Pair of chairs by Joseph Mathieu for Mulipl’s

Pair of stamped metal chairs, designed by Joseph Mathieu in 1920 and produced by Multipl’s, a competitor of Tolix. They were manufactured until 1950. They were frequently found in the outdoor settings of bistros or used by local authorities. They are in good condition, with only a few signs of wear, more pronounced on one of the two chairs. They are stackable. Seat height 46 cm, weight 5 kg.
