Saturn is a classic from the Danish manufacturer Fog & Mørup, designed by Jo Hammerborg in the 1950s. It features a very simple and symmetrical minimalist design with attention to detail. The contrast between the aluminium and the matte black or anthracite is particularly striking. The aluminium-coloured lamp body is surrounded in the centre by a wide reflector ring. The ring directs light towards the outer sides of the lamp body and can appear in aluminium. At the top and bottom, direct light is diffused by a ribbed diffuser plate. The interior of the blades and spacers is coloured magenta, giving a colourful appearance on the outer aluminium surfaces.
