Pair of very large table lamps from the 1960s-70s, design einar johansen. Dark blue and light blue glaze. Model 1033, made by søholm stentøj (soholm pottery) on the island of bornholm, denmark. Søholm stentøj, meaning soholm sandstone, was founded in 1835 by herman sonne wolffsen and edvard sonne. In the mid-20th century, søholm produced a wide range of stoneware with varying patterns and shapes. Several designers have worked for søholm stentøj such as einar johansen, maria philippi, noomi backhausen among others. The lamps are signed with the manufacturer's mark. New electrification, new lampshades (diameter 40cm) base height included 48cm / total height 71cm. Lamp base diameter 14 cm.
