Belgian Art Deco Ceramic Table Lamps, Pair, Flambé Drip Glaze, New Silk Shades

Beautiful pair of Belgian Art Deco ceramic table lamps lovingly handcrafted from a rare matching pair of vases from Faïenceries de Thulin without harming the original ceramic. Dating to the 1920s–30s. Paired with new pleated silk lampshades in sand. Newly wired. Cobalt glaze pours down from the neck through ivory and oxblood red, bleeding into aubergine and warm chestnut as it pools and settles. It is the kind of controlled accident that the Belgian Art Deco ateliers made their signature — visceral, unpredictable, and nearly impossible to replicate. Both bases are impressed on the underside with model number 56 and Made in Belgium.
