Empty pocket in Guérin sandstone

Empty pocket in guérin stoneware, salted metallic enamels and flamed with great fire. Three different mastered techniques are present on this empty pocket: nucleation of textured beige enamels in the basin, salted bluish enamels on the perimeter of the empty pocket, black spotted enamels on the rolled handles reported. Of form referring to a strict and geometric antique repertoire, of a simple line typical of the art deco period of the early twentieth century. Decorative element in slip brought back into the basin, reference to the lyre, volutes in relief.
