Empty pocket in guérin stoneware, salted metallic enamels and flamed with great fire. Three different mastered techniques are present on this empty pocket: nucleation of textured beige enamels in the basin, salted bluish enamels on the perimeter of the empty pocket, black spotted enamels on the rolled handles reported. Of form referring to a strict and geometric antique repertoire, of a simple line typical of the art deco period of the early twentieth century. Decorative element in slip brought back into the basin, reference to the lyre, volutes in relief. Signed guerin, belgian sandstone pottery created in 1918 by roger guerin, who will revolutionize the belgian sandstone of bouffioulx, a village of ceramists since the middle ages. Turned piece.
