Original charles eames rocking chair in light ochre. Vintage fibreglass shell on replacement zinc base with solid walnut wood runners (we also have black powder coated bases and oak/birch runners if you would prefer). The contemporary version of this chair is made of polypropylene, which in our opinion, is not a patch on these original fibreglass models, which age really well. In good vintage condition. No chips or cracks in the fibreglass. the shockmounts are in good condition. Some minor scuffs here and there on the shell but nothing serious. Approximate dimensions: Width: 63.5cm. Depth: 61cm. Height: 68cm. Seat height: 43cm. A mid-century classic. The seat and base will be dismantled for safer shipping but can be bought fully assembled if so desired - please let us know in this case and we will let you have a shipping quote.
