Eames Herman Miller DAW fibreglass chair in parchment / white

Original 1950s Charles Eames for Herman Miller chair in off white fibreglass shell on a walnut dowel base. Date stamped Dec 4th 1959 In good vintage condition.  No chips or cracks in the fibreglass.  The shockmounts are in good condition.  Some minor scuffs here and there and some discolouration on the seat and back but nothing too serious. Price has been reduced acordingly.  The contemporary version of this chair is made of polypropylene, which in our opinion, is not a patch on these original fibreglass models, which age beautifully. Approximate dimensions: Width: 63cm Depth: 53cm Height: 83cm Seat height: 42cm. This can also be supplied on a differnt base of your choice. A midcentury classic. The seat and base will be dismantled for safer shipping but can be bought fully assembled if so desired - please let us know in this case and we will let you have a shipping quote.
