Armchair Curule Dagobert wood and rattan canning

Charming curule armchair, also sometimes called dagobert armchair, whose solid wood structure is lightened by a pretty canning seat. It features beautiful details carved or carved by hand. I will not be able to date it precisely, but given its artisanal manufacture, the patina of the caning, the hand-carved decorations, I will lean towards the beginning of the 20th century (with probably some later repairs, including reinforcement by screws in some places but the heads are not visible, they have been hidden by tinted wood pulp, there is a very small piece of screw at the junction point between the armrest and the backrest). This chair is in good general condition: still very solid, the caning is in good condition, but it does not hide its age: some marks and various stains (not very visible), some small gaps on the wood of the feet, one of the armrests oscillates very slightly (but it holds firm, no concern for solidity). It measures 74 cm in height, 38 cm at the lowest point of the seat, 53 cm in width and 48 cm in depth and weighs about 7 kg.
