Horizontal diptych sundial with axis wire also called nuremberg dial. Entirely made of precious wood with a dial and a compass. The box is decorated on the outside by a drawing on paper representing the famous drawing "the perfect man of vitruvius" by the famous florentine painter leonardo da vinci. A small nod to the study of the treatise on ancient architecture by the roman architect vitruvius dedicated to the roman emperor augustus. Length 5.5 cm. Width 4 cm. Height 2 cm.
