World Map Coffee Table Maison Jansen

Here is a coffee table made by Maison Jansen in the 1970s, featuring the well-known British colonial style often used by Jansen. On a wooden structure, there is a world map decoration, the map "A New and Correct map of the world down BC" drawn by Herman Moll in the 18th century. The decoration is protected by a glass plate, and brass finishes outline the edge of the top and highlight some lines of the table. The structure is made of solid wood, probably rosewood, and the signature of the house is under one leg. Although it shows slight signs of age, it is in very good condition, with no missing parts or major scratches. Width 61 cm. Length 103 cm. Height 45 cm.
