Coffee table produced by Vad Trevarefabrikk. Its large embossed copper top, decorated with relief scenes (chariots, warriors, processions) inspired by ancient art and often described as "neo-Egyptian, " rests on a slender base with slender solid wood legs. The combination of warm-hued copper and dark wood, in a brutalist style, perfectly illustrates the Nordic design of the 1960s and 1970s. A sculptural piece that combines noble materials, oriental influences, and Scandinavian minimalism.
