Very beautiful Louis XIV chest of drawers from the early 18th century, slightly curved at the front, with flat sides, decorated with geometric marquetry. We can find marquetry made of olive wood, walnut, rosewood, and boxwood. Superb wood marquetry work with geometric designs on the sides and bronze fittings. It opens with five drawers arranged in four rows, which is always more elegant than four large drawers. Rounded corners highlighted by wood fillets. The drawer interiors are made of walnut, a sign of quality. It is topped with its original Saint-Anne marble, which is intact. French polish finish. This piece is comparable to the productions of Thomas Hache in Grenoble. Regency period - early 18th century. In perfect condition with a magnificent patina.
