Louis XV commode in solid walnut, French work from the 18th century. Curved front opening to five drawers in three rows, including two small drawers framing a central drawer at the top, with moulded fronts featuring scalloped reserves. Drop handles and rocaille lock entries in bronze, moulded red veined marble top, panelled sides, curved feet. 130 cm wide, 76 cm high, 65 cm deep. Walnut with a blonde patina, drawers with hand-cut dovetail joints, marble with a small chip, complete bronzes. The stamp has not been sought on the frame. Bedroom or living room piece.
