Antique pique-fleur vase in Iznik ceramic - Persia (Turkey/Iran) - Qajar period 18th-19th century. Traditional vase with 4 necks in Persian stoneware. Piece in excellent condition for its age, with a superb patina and very decorative colourful patterns. The city of Iznik has been considered one of the cradles of Persian ceramics since the 1950s, with pieces discovered dating back to the 15th century. This tradition has continued in Turkey to this day, and the piece presented here can be dated to the early Qajar Dynasty (1789-1925) based on other reference pieces and the obvious signs of age. H18xD14cm. 800g.
