Old Asian vase

A superb and heavy finely crackled ceramic vase from the 1940s, this is a reproduction of an even older vase. Hand-painted decoration of floral motifs and butterflies. Fruit-shaped handles, resembling peaches or pomegranates, as well as a rose in relief, adorn the body of the vase and add a sculptural dimension to the porcelain. The whole forms a rich and rare decoration in shades of green, pink, purple, yellow and gold of the most beautiful effect. The condition is impeccable, no cracks or chips. Height. 22cm Diam. 18cm.
