Zoomorphic bird ashtray, hand-decorated ceramic GL, Italy.

Charming ashtray in the shape of a bird, with the tail serving as a cigarette rest. The cobalt blue decoration has been hand-painted. This ashtray is stamped "GL made in Italy" underneath. My investigation into this stamp to trace the workshop where this bird was created has led me to the town of Gualdo Tadino, but for now, I have not been able to go further; the investigation is still ongoing, and if I have more details, I will share them here. This ashtray is in very good condition, with no cracks or chips, just a tiny nick on the tail. It measures 14 cm in length, 7 cm in width, and 9.5 cm in height.
