Ceramic bird, hand-painted, Mexico

A lovely ceramic bird adorned with a fine hand-painted blue floral design. It comes from Mexico and likely dates from the 1960s to the 1980s. These round birds, with simple, stylised shapes but richly decorated with hand-painted patterns, were quite prevalent in Mexican craftsmanship in the second half of the 20th century and even earlier. This bird is in generally good condition, with no cracks or visible chips, just small nicks under the tips that serve as feet, and some original glazing missing underneath. It also has a remnant of a label underneath, which I was unable to remove. It measures approximately 20 cm in length, about 6.5 cm in maximum width, and 10 cm in maximum height.
