Suite of 8 Swedish chairs designed by Swedish designer Nils Jonsson for the manufacturer Troeds Bärjnum in the early 1960s. Black leather seat in excellent condition, spindle legs and band-type backrest. Hot iron stamp under the seats (see photo). Made in Sweden of course. Very rare, particularly for a series of 8 chairs (the suites of chairs having most often been separated or broken over the years). Similar to what Stella, Stoll Kamnik and Baumann made in the same years with Kofod Larsen, Pierre Guariche etc. The chairs are original and date from the 60s. They are in solid teak for the structure and the banded back, and in black leather for the seat. They are really in very good condition, some very very slight marks of time (more than 60 years!) but no tears as is often the case on Scandinavian chairs from the 60s. They are very comfortable, have very little damage. visible screws, testifying to a refined and successful design. Dimensions: Height 81cm Width 41cm Depth: 48cm Price for the suite of 8 chairs: €2,250. Sale of the preferred lot but I will listen to any proposal. Pick up in Paris 8th near the Liege (line 13) or Rome (line 3) metro stations. Delivery possible at extra cost depending on distance (to be discussed). Similar: Erik Buch, Arne Vodder, Pierre Guariche, Johannes Andersen, Ejvind A. Johansson, Alf Aarseth, Farstrup, Niels O Moller...
