Lamp circa 1925, lampshade signed Muller Frères, wrought iron base

Lamp composed of a hemispherical shade in colored glass paste in shades of blue, pink, and white, signed Muller Frères. The speckled decoration is typical of Nancy production from the 1920s. The hammer-worked wrought iron base features a central twisted motif, finished with a ribbed circular base. This marriage of artistic glass and stylized ironwork perfectly illustrates the Art Deco aesthetic of the period.
