This truly scandinavian mid-century modern, free-standing wall unit in teak with three shelves and a secretary desk will create a discreet space for a home office. The cabinet is lockable with the key included. It is an entirely modular shelving system called “ergo”, which was designed by john texmon and einar blindheim for blindheim mobelfabrikk and made in norway in the 1960s. Slightly curved cabinets make a warm impression and sculptural rails create an elegant and grand-looking statement. The black-painted backside of the shelves and cabinet gives the piece of furniture additional character. The wall unit includes: A secretary desk with practical compartments and shelf - h: 43/w: 78, 5/d: 37 cm. 3 shelves 23 cm deep. 2 teak supports, each 193 cm long. The wall unit has been checked by our team. We have examined if the door works properly. On many occasions, we have to sand down the most used parts (if they are scratched badly). Here we have only rejuvenated the wood with danish oil. We leave minor signs of use that do not spoil the aesthetic and only confirm it is originality. We try to bring it back to its best look, still considering it is 60 years old. Clients from all around the world already have trusted our work and its fruits. If you are new to vintage furniture, you can contact us for any possible explanations and close-ups of the piece. It is a beautiful and functional piece in fantastic original vintage condition with minor traces of use, like light discoloration inside the cabinet.
