Rare Italian modular wall system from the 1950s–60s made of wood with black lacquered steel uprights and refined brass details, including an integrated drop-down cabinet. This elegant wall shelf is built around a system of vertical rails, offering total compositional flexibility. The shelves are made of wood in warm tones, with rich and consistent grain, and are supported by thin black metal brackets with distinctive triangular geometry. The brass connection elements provide a subtle contrast and give the whole a more architectural refinement. The central cabinet is equipped with a drop-down door, opening to a compact workspace or bar compartment. The interior is finished in matching wood and includes a storage shelf. The facade is highlighted by a horizontal brass handle. The overall composition is light and graphic, with a marked rhythm between the vertical uprights and the floating shelves. It is suitable as a library, display system, or functional storage unit with a discreet workspace. The condition is very good, with slight signs of age and use consistent with the period. The brass has a natural patina, and the wood surfaces retain a warm and well-preserved finish. A rare and very practical modular system, combining Italian modernist elegance with usability flexibility.
