Antique round slightly oval wall mirror, presented in a moulded and gilded wooden frame, characteristic of the Louis-Philippe style. The piece can be dated to the 19th century, probably in the second half. The original glass shows a pronounced patina with numerous pitting and alterations to the backing, creating a cloudy and decorative appearance typical of antique mirrors. The gilded wooden frame shows signs of use consistent with its age, including wear, small scratches, and wear to the gilding visible in the photographs. The piece maintains a beautiful aesthetic balance and an appreciable authenticity for characterful decoration. Dimensions recorded: approximately 34 X 37 cm.
