Small rectangular mirror, in the decorative style of the Second Empire / Napoleon III, with an architectural frame in blackened wood enhanced with golden motifs. The frame features several registers of mouldings, a frieze of foliage and palmettes, rows of beads, as well as geometric projections at the corners. The antique glass shows numerous alterations to the silvering and pitting, spread across the entire surface, with several more pronounced areas.
