A coat rack by Roger Féraud that plays its own tune. If you like objects with a certain personality, this one should please you! This coat rack was designed by Roger Féraud (1890-1964), a French creator known for his original and graphic design coat racks. Among his creations are the Astrolabe and Clef de sol models, which are now sought after by enthusiasts of 1950s furniture. At that time, furniture took on lighter and more graphic airs. Lines became free, materials mixed, and even everyday objects allowed themselves some whimsy. In this Clef de sol model, the black metal structure creates a slender and very graphic silhouette. It is punctuated by painted wooden balls in different colors: red, yellow, green, and blue. A simple detail, but it changes everything! Why I chose it. I really like its silhouette and presence in a room. It has that little something that makes a functional object also a true decorative element. And then, it's hard not to smile at those little touches of color that punctuate its black structure! The Little Technical Plus. Creator: Roger Feraud. Model: Clef de sol. Era: 1950s. Structure: black metal. Ornaments: painted wooden balls in different colors. Dimension: Diameter 65 cm, height 180 cm.
