A lovely freestanding coat rack, attributed to designer Roger Feraud. Dating from the 1950s, this genuine vintage piece is characterised by a tubular metal structure painted white and hooks topped with wooden balls painted in various colours. Similar to Roger Feraud's iconic "clef de sol" model, it features 8 balls in yellow, green, blue, and red on 2 levels. Very decorative, it combines functionality with vintage design. In good condition without deformation, it shows some paint chips on the structure and signs of use. Roger Feraud (1890 – 1964) was a French designer known for creating coat racks that became iconic pieces of 20th-century design, notably the "Astrolabe" model. A Roger Feraud coat rack is recognisable by its design style, metal structure, and colourful wooden balls.
