Desvres old Rouen faience plate

Large oval serving dish, type soup tureen of large capacity, made of DESVRES earthenware, Rouen decoration from the mid-20th century (classic 19th-century design). Polychrome decoration on white earthenware, hand-painted with motifs of floral scrolls, lambrequins, foliage, and grids, as well as two masks on either side. Underneath the dish, there is an apocryphal mark "handmade". I also have the tray/dish of this model. In superb condition. Height without lid: 11.5 cm. Weight: 3.255 kg.
