Elegant bow-fronted chest of drawers from the Louis XV period, work from the Southwest, 18th century. Curved front opening with three rows of drawers, rounded fluted uprights, shaped apron, and curved feet. Moulded top with a shaped profile. Sides with panels. Solid blond walnut [to be confirmed], drawer interiors in softwood with compartments. Traditional dowel joinery, back made of old planks. Bronze lock entries with rocaille decoration, drop handles with rosettes. Condition: very good presentation condition, beautiful warm patina. Minor signs of use and old repairs visible on the top. Old traces of woodworm, inactive [to be confirmed]. Handles [original / replaced: to be specified]. A classic and warm chest of drawers that fits well in both antique and contemporary interiors.
