Scandinavian armchair Skrindan by OPE Möbler. Swedish design by Kerstin Hörlin-Holmquist. A classic of Scandinavian design dating from 1963, inspired by the Gripsholmsfåtölj armchair from the 1700s. The armchairs presented in the advertisement have an original beech structure that is stained. The structure is in very good condition, solid and stable, with some minor signs of normal use that are discreet. The original mustard yellow velvet upholstery, particularly visible under the seat cushion, has been replaced with a floral patterned fabric that shows signs of use, such as wear at friction points and a few pulled threads. The padding is in good condition, and the covers have zippers allowing them to be opened. The armrests also show signs of use but can be easily reupholstered with the remnants of the floral fabric provided with the armchair. These armchairs come from a well-kept home in western Sweden and have had only one owner. They can be used as they are or will serve as a very good basis for renovation if you wish to change the floral upholstery for another of your choice. Seat height 41 cm.
