Large presentation dish

Superb antique ceramic presentation platter or large decorative plate, vintage 1950s. Petrus Regout, Maastricht in Delft porcelain. Large in size, the floral pattern is very rich and colorful. In the center, a basket overflowing with varied flowers is framed by a border decoration in red, black and white arabesques, enhanced with touches of blue, yellow, orange and green. This type of decoration evokes the style of 19th century Dutch or Belgian earthenware. The design is finely detailed, typical of the underglaze printing used by the Maastricht factories. A rare object, it is in impeccable condition, no cracks or chips. Diam. 31cm Height. 4cm.
