Beautiful delftware wall plate, hand-decorated in cobalt blue with a flower basket in the center and a refined floral frieze around the edge. With its diameter of 30 cm, it can also be used as a serving dish. Original stamp on the back: "handpainted delft - made in holland - boch", with original label. Integrated hanging hook for wall hanging. This plate was produced by the dutch branch of the famous boch family, known for its manufactures in europe (villeroy & boch, boch la louvière). Here, it follows the tradition of dutch delftware, with craftsmanship inspired by 17th-century ceramics.
