Tapestry "The Work of the Wool"

Reproduction of the hanging on display at the louvre museum from the 16th century noble pastoral series. This tapestry presents three stages of wool work. On the right, a young girl sitting holds against her a sheep that she is about to mow. In the centre, a young man standing pelts the wool of a skein placed on a reel, or touret.
