On the right, a young girl sitting holds against her a sheep that she is about to mow. In the centre, a young man standing pelts the wool of a skein placed on a reel, or touret. On the left, a young girl sits on her lap holding a ribbon pass, a small portable loom used by women to make stripes and ribbons. Rambouillet arts edition. Contractor in demay. Master engraver e boitard.
