Antique earthenware tureen by Émile Tessier (1887-1971), Malicorne, France, hand-painted. A remarkable piece, distinguished by its craftsmanship, vibrant decoration, and rustic-elegant charm. This rounded tureen rests on a small foot. It features side handles, a domed lid, and a unique handle on the lid adorned with a floral motif (apple and leaves) glazed in shades of blue. The decoration is inspired by a classic floral and vegetal motif in a deep cobalt blue (Delft or Rouen style), contrasted by touches of orange or ochre yellow, giving it a warm and distinctive character, typical of Malicorne production. A jewel of traditional French ceramics, bearing the unmistakable mark of Émile Tessier. Dimensions: 30 X 25 X 25 cm. As these are vintage items, they may show signs of wear. The photographs are an integral part of the description and condition of the items.
