Mid-century African handcrafted carved and stained wood low stool or side table. Made in Central Africa, Congo region, mid-century period, 1950s/60s for the tourist market. Dark stained and carved low stool in a lightweight wood. It has a beautiful patina and signs of its use and age. In very good and sturdy condition. Measures 40 cm X 48 cm X 45 cm.
