Rare tripod monoxyle stool from Ethiopia dating from the 1950s, entirely handmade from Wanza wood. This type of stool, characteristic of traditional Ethiopian craftsmanship, was used daily in homes and rural cafés, particularly in the Jimma region. Carved in a simple and sculptural shape, it is distinguished by its round and thick seat, supported by three legs with irregular curves, each slightly different. The woodwork is intentionally raw, revealing the roughness, material variations, and marks left by artisanal shaping. A primitive piece with a unique character, equally interesting as a small auxiliary seat or as a decorative object.
