2516 - art nouveau period, often wrongly called "clichy" this vase, not listed but attributed to the glassworks of saint denis and pantin united of which françois théodore legras (1839-1916) was the director at the age of 27. Thick ball-shaped glass with wavy neck with variegated decoration, blown and molded. No cracks or splinters. Trace of the blower's cane unpolished at the heel. At the time, the production of this type of glassware was presented as "new shapes and colors" and are coveted even today. Height 211 mm X 158 mm. Weight 1320 g.
