Murano glass vase, tinted and bubbled.

Superb vintage Italian art vase made of blown Murano glass, dating from the 1950s-1960s. It stands out for its intense red/fuchsia hue, its twisted ribbed structure, and its superb bullicante technique (air bubbles regularly trapped within the glass mass). The wavy flared neck and the scalloped transparent glass edges (morise) add remarkable elegance to the whole. A very decorative piece, heavy and of great presence, ideal for a Mid-Century, brutalist, or contemporary interior.
