Small Murano Millefiori soliflore vase with gold inclusions – 1960

A favourite for this charming little vintage Murano glass soliflore vase. Made using the famous Italian Millefiori technique in pink and starry hues, it is delicately enhanced with inclusions of gold powder within the glass. This small vase, standing at 11 cm tall, is a concentration of the craftsmanship of Murano glassmakers from the 1950s-1960s. Its curved body features a rich composition of murrines (Millefiori) in a poetic palette of pink, white, and chocolate tones. The glasswork is complemented by gold flecks (aventurine powder) that subtly catch the light on the base and flared neck. An ideal piece of art glass to place on a sideboard, bedside table, or to complete a cabinet of curiosities. Dimensions: Height: 11 cm. Diameter (at the widest point): ~7 cm.
