19th-century oak chest

Oak chest, early 19th century, dovetail construction, resting on four tapered feet. The front, both sides, and the top of the lid are carved with friezes, shells, and napkin folds. Iron lock entries. Inside, a small compartment for storing more delicate items. The lid is held by two substantial wrought iron hinges. Light oak, in its original condition. Dimensions: 125 cm X 62 cm X 54 cm high.
