Set of two beautiful pendants with globe-shaped shades made of slightly smoked glass featuring a simple and elegant floral design etched on the surface. It seems to be blown glass, as there is no visible "seam" that would suggest moulded glass. The suspension is achieved through chains, some links of which are more elaborately designed than others. These pendants evoke the creations of the glass factory in Kamenicky Senov in Czechoslovakia from the 1970s, but in the absence of markings, there is no certainty about their origin. The suspension set (support to hold the globe, chain, and canopy) is made of metal with a bronze finish. These light fixtures are complete (bulb socket for large base bulbs, wiring, hanging ring), with only one missing piece inside one globe: a component with three spring tabs to hold the globe in place. One globe has this piece in two copies, making a total of six holding tabs, while the other has it in one copy, thus three holding tabs. However, this does not affect the secure holding of the globe: it remains very stable, and I even see an advantage: it is easier to remove and replace when changing the bulb. I have tested them, and they work. They likely date from the 1970s or 1980s. The set is in good condition, with no cracks or missing parts on the globes, just a few small scratches, but nothing very noticeable. The bronze-coloured metal parts show the patina of time: marks, stains, and discolouration. The globes measure approximately 21 cm in diameter, and the suspension part measures about 37 cm (length from the bottom edge of the globe support to the top of the canopy). The two glass globes do not weigh the same, likely due to a greater thickness of the glass, as they are perfectly identical, which seems to confirm an artisanal origin for the glass globes.
