Art Deco style swirl glass light by Marinha Grande

This amazing and valuable hanging lamp was made by the Marinha Grande glass factory  (now extinct) in the 1960s in Portugal, in the style of Art Deco.  It features and-blown spherical glass shade with a smoky amber-brown tint. The glass contains dramatic internal swirling patterns, often called optical swirl glass or marbled art glass. Original plastic light bulb socket, E27. We recommend using LED bulbs. Measurements: Total height 90cm. Globe diameter 20cm. Excellent condition. New electrical wiring.
