Barbedienne (attributed to), pair of candelabra with storks

Pair of candelabra attributed to Louis Ferdinand Barbadienne, circa 1880. Made of gilded bronze (ormolu), these candelabra feature tripod feet adorned with winged panthers, columns decorated with finely chiselled leaves and flowers, and are topped with a stork standing on a turtle. The quality of the chiselling and details is exceptional, although one of the candelabra shows an old solder mark at the base of the stork. Dimensions: total height 62.5 cm, maximum diameter 20 cm. Weight of each candelabrum: 2.5 kg. The price takes into account the mentioned damage.
