Magnificent French Louis XVI Style Bronze Seven-Light Candelabra LF Paris

Standing approximately 60 cm high and 30.5 cm wide, this substantial candelabra features seven graceful candle branches, arranged around an ornate central stem and decorated with elegant classical Louis XVI-inspired detailing. The candelabra has a beautiful antique-gold appearance, which appears to have been applied as a later finish over the original bronze. The warm golden tone enhances the intricate details and gives the piece a particularly luxurious and decorative character. The symmetrical design, elegant proportions and richly ornamented form are typical of the Louis XVI style, making this a striking centrepiece for a dining table, console, mantelpiece or sideboard. The piece is also inscribed LF Paris adding an intriguing detail and further character to this beautiful French candelabra. This is a vintage/antique-style candelabra with a beautiful antique-gold finish, which appears to have been applied or refreshed at some point during its life. The finish has some variation and signs of age, giving the piece a lovely aged and decorative character.There are also areas of verdigris/patina, particularly noticeable on the underside of the base, along with other minor signs of age and wear consistent with the history of a vintage decorative piece. The candelabra is inscribed “LF Paris” at the base of the candle arms. The inscription is quite faint and can be difficult to see, but it is visible on close inspection.
