Library DF2000 Doubinski

Large piece of furniture composed of 4 units, published by df 2000 (doubinski frères) in the 70s. This piece of furniture serves as a library, storage cabinet and secretary, it is equipped with 5 chrome plastic front drawers. The design of the drawer facades is raymond Loewy In the lower part, doors with aluminum buttons, in the upper part of doors without buttons that are opened from below. In the center of the shelves adjustable in height (two large additional shelves available not present in the photo. Some of the shelves have a lighting system at the back (see following photos). A flap making secretary, opens onto a niche with a glass shelf. A lighting system is present in the secretary, with a separate switch. Note that the flap was "tinkered" by the former owner, the hinge and fasteners are not original, to be taken back if necessary (see photos details). The arrangement of the 4 modules is free, you can switch according to your taste. Once installed it is possible to fix them between them using bolts provided for this purpose. The whole is in a correct state, but has clearly lived and has traces of use. The (invisible) feet are rusty, some laminate parts are a little damaged. The furniture will be delivered disassembled, it is reassembled using a system close to that of ikéa or minvielle. The price takes into account the general condition, however once raised and filled, the small defects are not very visible!
