Teak wall shelf designed by Jul de Roover

A teak wall unit with a black painted steel structure. Designed for an antwerp house by belgian interior designer jul de roover in the 1950s. The piece of furniture consists of a deep, double-width cabinet and two drawers underneath, three shelves which comprise the full length and a smaller shelf. The deeper cabinets feature white painted sliding doors and the drawers have white wood handles. There is also a storage box at the bottom with a larger space under the small shelf which allows the option of displaying larger items. The system is in good condition. The surface of the wood shows signs of wear in the form of scratches and discoloration from sunlight. There is some white paint on the metal brackets where the cabinet was previously attached to the wall.
