A very pretty covered ceramic box, triangular in shape with rounded corners, featuring a beautiful turquoise or seafoam green and brown glaze, highlighted with gold on the rim and the tip of the lid handle. It could have multiple uses: a candy dish, a sugar bowl, or even a jewelry box. The word "Germany" and the model number 206 are embossed on the bottom. I initially thought it dated from after German reunification, but now I'm having doubts: could it be pre-war? Perhaps from the 1920s or 30s? Its shape, rounded corners, the glaze color... it all feels very Art Deco! You be the judge, or perhaps investigate further! It's in very good overall condition, with no cracks or chips, but the gilding is worn on the rim. It measures 15 cm by 15 cm with a height of 7 cm at the rim of the box and approximately 11 cm with the lid.
